We have tours for everyone in the family; all you have to do is bring your imagination, swimsuit and sunscreen.
Scuba Diving
A 45 minute boat ride reaches Laughing Bird Caye Marine Reserve. Other excellent diving can be found at Silk Cayes, Glover's Reef, or Columbus Reef. At certain times of the year divers can enjoy the company of the Whale shark. What sets diving in southern Belize apart, is that often you will be the only divers, and won’t be sharing the reef with dozens of other groups.
Snorkel
Snorkeling amongst the beautiful coral formations and the abundant colorful marine life in the pristine shallow waters near many of the deserted cayes.
Choose from up to 20 locations, including the Sapodilla Cayes.
Fishing
Choose from deep sea, fly, trolling and bone fishing. It is possible to catch many different species, such as tuna, grouper and snapper, in a multitude of different locations.
And on your return the chef at Bella Maya will be happy to prepare your catch, while you reminisce on the success of the day.
Jaguar Preserve & Cockscomb Basin
Hike along trails into the highlands of the Belize rainforest near Victoria's Peak, the highest mountain peak in Belize. Along the hike trail you will learn to track the paw prints of the Jaguar and other fauna of the rainforest as well as learn about medicinal plants, the ecology, and various species of animal.
This excursion is also a bird watchers delight.
Mayan Temples
At Lubaantun and Nim Li Punit. Explore the history of the Maya and their traditions and be guided by an indigenous Maya from the region.
End your trip by exploring the caves at Blue Creek or Rio Blanco water falls deep in the central region of Toledo.
Monkey River
South of Placencia lies Monkey River, a birdwatcher's paradise reached by boat through the tropical river.
Much of Monkey River has been declared a Special Conservation Area, with howler monkeys and toucans in the tropical rainforest canopy, and manatee at the mouth of the river.
